Best of all, it's free! So study the event program to be sure you don't miss any of the spectacular fun.

And if anyone should get a little weary, do take advantage of the Chill Out Zones to have a little rest and refuel.

The Animals of The Magical Mountains

'The Animals of the Magical Mountains' takes a look at Australian culture through the eyes of eight native animals and a magical gum tree, depicted through a wide variety of songs and musical genres including country, rock, folk, pop, blue grass, reggae, blues and rock n' roll.

Enjoy a diverse program of non-stop family entertainment including dancers, singers, musicians and performers including The Animals of Magic Mountain, DanceWorks Geelong, The MarimbaTaters, Julie Anne’s Dance Avenue and an ensemble from High Voltage School of Rock.

Mini Maestros

Mini Maestros run free interactive music demonstrations for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

Their sessions include instrument playing, dancing, movement, puppets and more!

The Pakington Strand Children's Activity Zone

12.30- 4.30pm

Don’t miss RockUp Australia's Mobile Rock Climbing Wall is the biggest in Victoria, a unique experience for the whole family. Getting to the top and ringing the bell lets everyone know you made it!

If rock climbing is not your thing join the circus for the afternoon and try your hand at juggling, hula hoop, spinning plates and more, with the lovely instructors from Geelong’s very own circus school, CircArts! There will be four FREE 1-hour circus workshops, starting from 12.30pm.

And finally Come and Try Netball Victoria invites children to learn game skills including footwork, passing and goal shooting. Kids can also come and try the fun ‘obstacle course’ set up with cones and netball rings, among a range of fully staff supervised activities.

The Pakington Strand Activity Zone is located at the Pakington Strand along the northern end of Pakington Street (please refer to map)
