PAKO FESTA ELEMENTS OF CULTURE PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT
Three years in the making, the Elements of Culture Photographic Project pays tribute to the important contribution our local diverse communities have made to the success of Pako Festa over its 40-year history.
Pako Festa is Geelong’s unique annual event with a strong blending of cultures, civic pride and community ownership offering a unique experience and we sincerely thank the local diverse communities for inviting us to discover traditions and important elements of culture. Local photographer Chrissie Francis has captured images that reflect Geelong’s rich and diverse community, elements of culture and most importantly, a level of pride reflected in each portrait.
We thank the communities for sharing, preserving and teaching us more and more each year about cultural diversity.
