Street Face

‘Streetface’ is 28 pictures created over the summer of 2010 during 6 photographic workshops with local Photographer Trevor Pendock. Community groups, the general public and a school were taught how to photograph each other in creative ways that showed our unique differences, and the qualities that make us all essentially the same…our faces.

28 pictures, one for every year of that the Pako Festa (our local diversity festival) has existed, are featured 2.3m x 2.3m around the city and Pakington Street, Geelong West, starting the 16th February till the 5th of March 2010.

Download the ‘Streetface’ map here and follow the trail or see them all (smaller) at the ‘Streetface’ hub, Geelong West Town Hall, 153 Pakington Street, Geelong West.

Can’t get into town or Pakington St? Download the movie or copies of them all here as well, and see the wonderful faces of the community in Geelong.

A project of Diversitat and City of Greater Geelong, Youth Development Unit and supported by Ian Potter Foundation, City of Greater Geelong Community Arts Scheme, Signific and Evologic.
