Listen to the roving buskers and street entertainment along Pakington Street as you enjoy the tastes of the world!
Roving Performers: Look out for Fun Arts and a collection of Carmen Mirandas, The festive factory presents gone to the dogs and the Dixie Dukes bringing Dixie Music back from the 20s and 30s with a European twist look out for the Italian musicians adopting this style throughout the day.
Carmen Miranda Bar: Enjoy a great range of wines and boutique beers, experience cuisine with a Spanish and Hungarian attitude from Diversitat Wholefoods and catch the best of the entertainment on the Diversitat Stage – Albert Street - from 12noon-6.30pm.

Geelong West Library
Spanish Story time and Dance: Time: 10am-10.45am Age: 6 and under.Come to the library and listen to stories told in both English and Spanish by our festive Spanish and English storytellers! Learn traditional Spanish dances and participate in a craft activity.
Folktales from Faraway Lands: Time: 2pm – 2.45 Age: All Ages. Come to the library for an hour of interactive storytelling. Hear exciting tales about people and places from all over the world. Fun for the whole family!

Bananas in Pyjamas Show starting at 1pm, meet and greet 2pm & 3pm.
Wonders of the Boxy World. Geelong West Town Hall – Supper Room 12.30-4pm : Come and build a unique Wonder of the Boxy world! Using recycled cardboard boxes join us in creating an amazing interactive cardboard world. Kids (and kids at heart) can join in and be a part of creating a unique city landscape together as a community. Have fun designing and constructing your creation, place it into the box landscape then add your name to a star in the night sky so that everyone knows you were a part of the building fun. "Boxy" our mascot will also be making an appearance to help the kids out.

MLC Hot Shots Tennis is perfect for Kids aged 4 -12 years: It has smaller courts & lighter racquets making it fun to play and learn! The travelling Australian Open mini court will be at Pako Festa. There will be lots of giveaways and a chance to win a VIP Family Pass to the 2014 Australian Open. MLC Hot Shots Tennis is sponsored by Income Solutions Financial Planning. Geelong West Neighbourhood House presents
Art for the People – Celebrating Public Art on the street, in community gardens, in our neighbourhoods.
Mosaic workshop: 12.00noon - 3.00pm. This is your opportunity to learn about mosaic making and help make a mosaic for the Geelong West Community Garden with mosaic artist Helen Millar.
Children’s art workshop: 3.00 – 6.00pm. Artists Kat Jacoby and Felicity Kavanagh will welcome children's participation in a fun art activity. Children will be invited to add their own creations to our community tree which will be displayed in the Geelong West Library. Children of all ages can create original leaves using different painting and drawing techniques. Older children might also like to create some animal life to live high up in the tree. Wonders of the World: Ever wanted to share a photo of yourself standing on the Great Wall of Chine, sitting in front of the Taj Mahal, Kissing a camel with the Egyptian Pyramids behind you or standing in front of the Colosseum? At Pako Festa you can! Visit the Wonders of the World Wall in Albert Street for your chance to get your photos on the big screen! Look out for Diversitat staff with iPads waiting at the wall for you. The photos will be available on our website at a later date.

Keep it Clean
Pako Festa is a registered Waste Wise Event, aiming to eliminate unnecessary packaging, reduce waste,maximize recycling and reduce littering. Look out for the Waste Wise Recycling Stations and bins around the site.
Alcohol Free Zone
With the exception of designated licensed areas, alcohol is strictly prohibited at Pako Festa.
Road Closures from 4am reopen 10pm
Pakington Street and streets adjoining it are closed to all traffic from (and including) Anglesea and Collins
Streets at the northern end and Autumn Street at the southern end. See the map inside this program for details.
